Signal Path Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
The short version: Signal Path collects no data. None. The game runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad, and the songs you write and the progress you make never leave it.
How the game works
Everything Signal Path needs is inside the app: the map, the art, and every band. The music is synthesized on your device as you play, so there is nothing to download or stream. The game makes no network connections and plays the same in airplane mode.
What the game keeps, and where it stays
- Your trip. Your stars, the songs you write at each stop, your vehicle and paint, and your settings are saved on your device, in the app’s own storage. The app keeps a second copy in its private folder on the same device, so your trip can be restored if the first copy is ever lost. Neither copy is sent to us. If you back up your device to iCloud or to a computer, that backup includes the second copy, under your control and Apple’s terms. We can’t see it.
- Song codes. Copying a song code puts a short line of text on your clipboard that describes the notes of one loop and nothing else. Where you paste it is up to you.
- Problem reports. In Settings, Copy report puts the app version, your device model and iOS version, and the most recent errors the game logged on your clipboard. Nothing is sent automatically. If you paste it into an email to us, we receive only what you choose to send, and use it only to answer you and fix the problem.
- No permissions. Signal Path never asks for your location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or anything else. It plays sound and responds to your taps, and that is all.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ups, or logins.
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
- No servers. The game has nothing to send data to.
- No selling, sharing, or transferring of data to anyone, because we never have it.
Deleting your data
There is nothing held anywhere else to delete. In Settings, Reset all progress erases your stars and songs on that device and keeps your settings. Deleting the app removes everything it saved there, including the second copy. A device backup made before then may still contain a copy until that backup is replaced or deleted, which you control in iCloud or on your computer.
Children
Signal Path is a game for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
