What Basket does

• Compares the cost that matters. Add the package size and Basket converts prices to a common unit before choosing the winner.
• Keeps a price history. Each update adds a dated entry, so you can see whether a current sale is actually good.
• Plans the shopping list. Add what you need and Basket groups the list by store, totals the trip, and shows what another stop saves.
• Reads receipts and order screenshots. On-device text recognition finds item names and prices, then lets you confirm every match before saving.
• Works with the stores you use. Start with popular chains, find nearby stores, or add a custom store search address.
• Stays private. No account, no ads, no analytics, and no developer-operated data server.

Free by choice

Basket has no subscription and no paid tier. Grocery data stays on your device and can sync through your private iCloud when available. Receipt images are read on your device and discarded after you confirm the results.
